During the 2010 Domestic Violence Conference, we wish to extend a special invitation to Indigenous groups from all over the Globe to come and participate in the Gathering in KL. We understand that countries such as Australia, New Zealand and Canada have strong and powerful campaigns against domestic violence. These groups have developed superb initiatives both within their country and in their Indigenous communities.
There are many programs running throughout the world that had started off as an individual idea which can work both at state and national level. This year’s conference is all about promoting these ideas which will be flagships to foster cooperation through empowering communities and individuals, whether it be indigenous or mainstream society, with great new global initiatives.
